Exclamation Screen recorder for macbook air

I want to record gaming on my MacBook Air. What is the best software to do so? I have been using QuickTime to record them until now, but it is just not so responsive.

Camtasia, iShowU HD, ScreenFlow and some others might help.

I use both Camtasia 2 and ScreenFlow for screen recording
Both do very well

The problem with Screenflow is that I just can not seem to figure out how to record a specific part of my screen.

Don't think ScreenFlow gives you that option, but Camtasia does it well
For that reason, I often opt for Camtasia instead

This. I can't recommend anything else when Screenflow works so well.
