I find that a coincidence that you got that error number on the night some celebrate witchcraft. 😱

Did you type in the wrong website or improper code? I've hardly ever used BBEdit, so I'm guessing here.

i thinm it is because i do not have system preferences in the "expected" place. i was trying to open internet prefs from within bbedit.
