ASF to MOV

Well I don't know how but I think it whould be awsome if there was a converting app to convert ASF (A Windows Media Palyer type file) to a QuickTime movie or another Mac easy to read fourm.
 
...there really isn't a way, sorry 🙁 Being the M$ is, well, M$, the /asf is a proprietary format so it's really hard to make a converter for it. You COULD get a prog like SnapzPro X and record the video directly off the screen, but itll take up mass amounts of space (but that can be fixed at least)
 
So that program can record video from your monitor? Thats cool?an I get that program, and what's it called again!?
 
I'll have to keep my eyes open for cleaner 6 in my schools mac labs. They are still on cleaner 5 right?
