How many here suffer from this affliction?

Full disclosure: A long time ago, I did have a streak of this. I was mainly cured one day when someone I really respected told me to "shut it."

Sadly, there are many posters here with full-blown symptoms...

Edit: really, the four-letter acronym for "shut it" isn't OK here?

The sufferers are the ones who have to put up with people like that.

I was at a beer tasting night recently and the host in the bar was after people's opinions during each sample. This ******** kept being the first to answer with responses that made him look educated in the ale world, but just ruined the atmosphere for everyone else. Was meant to be a discussion, and given how flavour preference is subjective, his need to answer every time with more drabble got on everyone's nerves.

I guess we all do it at times, but there is some people who just can't control themselves. Nothing irritates me more than someone finishing my sentence when I'm answering a question.
