use icloud to store files?

Seems icloud is useless for people who only have one apple devices like me having a mbp.
I will disable it again, i do not have iphone or ipad now its useless
Hopefully there will be some work done to iCloud that will be announced at WWDC that will allow just what you're asking. I think it has a lot of potential, even for a one apple device person, but it needs some serious improvements.
Yes, they should make it otherwise icloud is not a complete solution, now i have to install dropbox.

It's hard to think there will ever be a one size fits all solution for everyone's online needs. Dropbox is great (I have 60GB of space there myself), but it doesn't do anything other than file storage. You still need something else for contact and calendar syncing, device tracking, etc.
I personally use iCloud, Google, and Dropbox. Different tasks need a different solution.

I love the iCloud integration with my iDevices
And I can't imagine my world without Dropbox now, I use it extensively

For some apps I just want iCloud running in the background keeping things in sync and for others I want to toss'em into a folder and sync'em that way. I love having both services. Woof!
I use a combination of iCloud and SkyDrive. I converted from DropBox to SkyDrive when Microsoft gave me 25GB free. The combination seems to work great for me. On the other hand I am hoping iCloud will enhance their service to include Photo Journals from Mac iPhoto and a true iDisk replacement. If not though, I will stay with what I have.
