Internet slow after Adobe Flash update

Running OSX 10.6.8. A few days ago I installed Adobe Flash player update, internet ran very slowly. Today Adobe had another update, I thought problem would be solved, but still running like old time modem! I have high speed wi-fi connection.

Anybody else have this?

I think that I just solved my problem. I checked my iPad and it also had slow connection. I then unplugged the router and cable box, restarted after a small delay and things appear to be normal now.

Still the question remains: was it the Flash update or something else?
