Beige G3 - USB mouse problems

I can't get my usb mouse to right click or use the scroller on my G3...It's running 8.6 and I put in a 4 port USB card. The mouse works great other than the right click and scrolling feature. Is it just that OS 8.6 doesn't do that or I need drivers or what? Also, if it is the OS, does 9.2.2 do right click and stuff? I've been thinking about upgrading to that.

Seems like you need 9.X for that type of stuff, if anyone finds out otherwise, please tell me.

Got it working in 8.6 All I had to do was download USB Overdrive 1.4 from versiontracker.com Now I can scroll and right click all I want. Only thing is right click only works on some things because 8.6 doesn't really support it. But online and stuff it works.
