DVD to Audio CD Conversion

Ok. I've done this before, about two years ago with a Howie Day DVD, but I remember it being a painfully boring process, and I probably didn't do it the most efficient way for sound quality. I'm sure by now there is an application, or the combination of a few applications that will make the process nearly painless. So I ask, is there an easy way for my to take a musical DVD (live concert) I have and convert it into purely audio files that I can listen to in iTunes, place on my iPod, or burn onto CD?

Edit:: shoot, wrong section of the forum..

looking for something that doesn't record in realtime, that would be so pokey.

Search the threads for 'OSEx' and/or 'mAC3dec' and you'll find at least one answer...
