Any mic's that work good with iPad and GarageBand?

I want to get an external mic for my daughter to mess around singing etc how would I go about getting a mic that would work/plug in? Do mic's work well in GarageBand and do they have to be compatible of some sort?

Nothing expensive or serious just something around 100 bucks or less

Samson Go Mic works pretty well, although you need the Camera Connection Kit. Here's my video review:

Since it's USB, it can also work with any computer...

I'd also look into the Blue Mikey Digital, it plugs directly into the 30-pin dock, but there's limitation in terms of mic placement:

There are also inputs for any line-in source or guitars
