No discrete GPU, lower resolution than the 13" MBA (even lower than that of the 11" Air, actually), no SSD what is this?

Apple would prefer it if you bought the 2000 Macbook Pro surely? I'm not sure though

i don't understand it either. why can't apple release a 13" version like the new 15"? i'm really disappointed.

Thus, MBP < MBA. The MBA also has a greater pixel density, which I imagine translates to a crisper display.
