Hi everyone. First post here. I'm using a Quicksilver unit running OSX 10.4.11
All was fine until I ' updated ' it due to the Firefox plug in warnings to update them.
My software update is current.
But I updated JAVA to 1.5.0_19 and Flashplayer to 10.1.102.64.
The videos did seem to play better and I didn't get the buffering circular wheel effect on the screen.
But two days ago both Firefox and Safari have been painfully slow in basic site connections. Sometimes a page will show up blank yet says ' done ' at the bottom of the page.
My main browser is Safari, yet I only use Firefox for the YouTube downloading ability.
I have cable connection yet I feel like I'm using my old Performa running OS7.

Any ideas of what went wrong?
I'm currently using Opera which is running at normal fast speed.
