Java VM and other Java files

Hello there, everyone.

I have been cleanign up my iMac a bit and deleting unecessary files, apps, and other things of that nature and had a question. What is the app "Java VM?" When I type "java" into spotlight, it returns the following:

Top Hit:
Java Visual VM

Applications:
Java Visual VM

Documents:
Java_variable_4.test
Java_variable_3.test
Java_variable_2.test
Java_variable_1.test
Java_interface_2.test
Java_interface_1.test

Now, even though they show up in spotlight, I don't see them in the finder, in launchpad, or in the developer folder. Am I just missing it? And is all this normal?

Thanks in advance for any help!
