Hi,

I have iOS 6 on both my 4s and iPad 3. I cannot get my phone number linked for both services on my iPad. I'm using the same apple ID on both. Does anyone know how to get this going?

This is what I did to fix mine. I removed all emails from "you can be reached by iMessage at" then it automatically added my phone number after a few seconds and it asked if I wanted to use my number for iMessage and Facetime.

Give that a try, hope it helps.

Hmmm... I tried this, but it will not let me delete all my email addressees. It always requires me to have at least one email.

Anyone else have a fix?

I got it to work. I followed the instructions on another thread.

1. Shut off iMessage / FaceTime on both iPhone and iPad.
2. Activate both services on iPad. You should now see your phone number pop up but you can't select it.
3. Start both services on iPhone.
4. You can now select phone number on iPad.

That's what worked for me...
