Curious as to who does...I've always customized my home screen but there is something quite fresh about a new OS with the default arrangement.

Lots of "herpes" apps on the home screen Passbook, Newstand, Game Center..

I always remove at least three apps from the home screen, or at a push a full row of four, and put the likes of Facebook and Twitter on the home screen.

I also see a massive difference in the smoothness of the animation returning to the home screen with less apps on the screen. A full page has slight stutter on iPhone 4 near the end of the animation cycle, but with three rows of apps it's very smooth going to/from any app on the home screen.

Mine is pretty close to stock. I did have to remove Game Center, Videos and You Tube though as I don't use those very often. The only 3rd party apps on my home screen are Tweetbot, Lighty, 1Password and Instacast.

I basically get rid of everything minus what's on the dock and settings and the clock. I fill it with jailbreak tweaks and whatnot.

I throw every Apple app into folders (most of it is junk to me). The only ones I keep out are Maps, Calculator, Settings, Clock, Music, and the App Store

Mine are Pretty much all in the default arrangement. I've got rid of music, video and Newsstand and replaced them with Facebook, Facebook messenger and find my friends.

No way. The first thing I did was replace the dock apps, and on my iPad, it's all about folders.

All of my icons are rearranged and shuffled about, I put most of the Apple icons in their own folder called "Stupid Apple ****" lol

My iPhone 4S has the exact same home screen default arrangement as the iPhone 3GS I got on launch day. The only thing that has changed is "iPod" to "Music," but it's still in the same place as it was on my 3GS on launch day.

It sort of makes it good in that the OS has allowed me to stay this consistent, but on the flip side, it also makes it very, very, boring, as I've been using the same UI for several years now. Really craving a change! And not just a "let's just make the black keys in the Phone app white" or "let's make the volume slider keys now change color with gyroscopic movement." These are nice enhancements, but only worth of a 5.x add on. Not an iOS 6 add on.

These 8 apps can NEVER change or I will have an OCD attack, lol. Everything else, I don't really care. I do have everything organized into folders, though... And I don't like folders on the main screen.

I certainly don't. I've replaced some Apple apps with alternatives I prefer and some just aren't useful to me. I've actually evolved my first screen for some of the quick access apps I use and my second screen for the more immersive apps (like Reeder and Instapaper).

I like having a page with only one icon too, so I can see my wallpaper and just kind of admire it for a minute. I can get away from all the drama and ********, and just admire it's beauty.

I try to stick to as stock as possible, except I flip messages and music around. Then I put all of my "premium" apps on the next page. Things like Bento, iLife, the Adobe Touch apps, and my iRFR app (the most expensive iOS app I have) on the front two pages.

nope,
I'm very OCD with my screen layout,
everything is in order a-z
folders and inside the folders,

iv got two :apple: folders at the top, one for the utilities and one for the stores.
