FS: 15" Powerbook 1.67 SuperDrive

I've decided to sell my 5 month old 15" Powerbook. My system is the same as the one listed below from the Apple store except mine has 1.5 Gig of RAM and it originally came with Panther loaded with iLife '05. Included will be the Tiger DVD as well as the original Panther. It is in perfect shape! I'm asking $2,500. Thanks, Chuck.

80GB Ultra ATA drive @ 5400 rpm

Estimated Ship: 1-3 business days $2,749.00

iWork '05 - DVD
Part Number: M9610Z/A
Estimated Ship: Same business day $79.00

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

Standard questions:
Where are you located?
What type of shipping and what cost (original box?)?
Who pays shipping?
What type of payment are you accepting?
Do you have any track record on another venue (like eBay) can you point to?
Is the extra 1 Gb RAM Apple or third party?

Does your post mean that the $2500 price includes SplinterCell and iWork, or that they are $79 and $39 extra?

I'm in Denton, Texas and am the network administrator at Ponder ISD in Ponder, Texas.

Buyer selects shipping of choice. I will handle up to $100 of the shipping/insurance cost; buyer will pay any remaining balance.

Right now only U.S. money orders but will setup a PayPal account if needed.

I admit I don't have a track record here or eBay as far as selling is concerned. Feel free to contact me at my work number which can be found at www.ponderisd.net under the Technology page. The area code is 940 or you can email me at the address given.

The extra 1 Gig stick of RAM is not from the Apple Store but is Samsung memory. (I don't buy cheap RAM! )

Yes, SpinterCell and iWork '05 will be included in their original boxes. I'll add Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional as well. It's not in the original box but is in the original CD case along with serial number.

I'll add some images from the System Profiler in a minute.

I'll post some pics of the Powerbook and assorted software and boxes if desired... The attached images are from the System Profiler.

That's a bit pricey for a 5 month old Powerbook that you are trying to sell on a site that people know what things are worth.

ok expert, what is it worth?

EDIT: Forget it, I'll just take your advice and sell it somewhere else.

if you cant get $2200 shipped for it, i would just take it to ebay, because you'll get it there... sure, they'll take fees and stuff, but dont sell low here just to sell

no prob. a top of the line laptop is a top of the line laptop no matter how you look at it, and if it's in good shape, a lot of people wont care if its 5 1/2 months old.. people here are looking for bargains, myself included, but don't sell at a loss over what you could get somewhere else just for the sake of selling it here..

good luck with your sale.

I'm certain you could get $2200 shipped on ebay. I would've bought it for that if I didn't already have one.
