Calling out all the Bose mie2 owners

Hi folks, I am very confused on Bose in ear headphones. Mainly 2 types which is the Mie2 and Mie2i.

Now the mie2 is suppose to have a mic on it only without the volume buttons. Where as the mie2i is the one with volume control.

I know there are fake ie2s out there, how about the mie2 and the mie2i?

I've been searching and all I can find is Infos on the old ie2.

don't waste your money on bose, way overpriced for mediocre quality, I'd recommend AKG the Q350's should do what you're looking for
