That is amazing that the Apple site is 31st among the most visited web sites. The fact that apple.com is the most visited computer site, just shows the loyalty of the Mac faithful. I have contributed to Apple success, visit the site at least once every day.

Yah can't tell you how many times I've built a PowerBook on the site only to leave rejected. One of these days I will be able to hit BUY.

You too, eh? I can spend hours just BTOing systems...

Anyway, the big news here is that other players in the industry may have marketshare, Apple has *mindshare*.

About once a year I BTO the most expensive tower I can. Yikes! I don't click buy, that's for sure

About once a month I BTO something to help advise a friend or acquaintance in their shopping.

About once a week I check the home page for news. Other than that, I browse the pages for a new product once, and that's about it. (If I'm serious about buying, I print the pages to PDF so I can re-visit them offline.)

Guess I don't contribute to the stats much

True, but "mindshare" doesn't keep a company in business. Apple has begun to capitalize on it's mystique and MS weakness, but sustained growth is a long road.

Marketshare doesn't keep a company in business either. Ask the company with 90% of a $1000-per-year market!

Sales keep a company in business, and I seem to recall some recent good news on that front

And don't forget that Apple's the #4 PC maker. All the others have even SMALLER market shares.
