help!! does your G4 Ti keep the time?????

it seems like every time i start up my new powerbook, the date and time are out of wack. i first thought this had something to do with networking (always switching - i'm mobile baby!)
so tell me, does your G4 Ti keep the time?????

🙂 seen this one a few dozen times. dead battery. you are going to need to get a technician to replace it.

Also, if you have to manually restart (caused by crashes, etc) or manually shut down your powerbook, the date and time gets messed up.

time issues...

if the battery keeps getting off track after u have shut it down, it's probably the PRAM battery...

if it loses it's way whenever u force a restart, u got me? 😕

maybe it's the same thing....but I would check www.macfixit.com or www.apple.com/support and search around first...
