just checking if any of you all use a microphone on your mac.... if so what microphone, what program do you use it with ... etc. etc.

I have one of the old PlainTalk mics, the rare translucent kind. And I rarely use it... 🙄 I lost interest in speakable items years ago... and I refuse to purchase IBM ViaVoice since they ripped me off with their first crappy version.

yeah i hear ya. i am also not intrested in speakable items but my friend with a mac is. he posed this question to me and i was like 😕

i never really thought about using a mic with a mac. im sure it happens but i just never had to use one on my mac.

i never use speakable items, but if i have to record my voice i guess i'll just put my head phones into the audio in socket and use them. 😛

headphones? how do use them as microphones?

also where does one plug there microphone into on the mac?

what free progrmas are there out there to use speakable items on mac?
