FS: ATI X850 XT from PM G5 and Blackberry 7290

Hey all,

I bought an X850 off a buddy who ordered a new Dual 2.3. It doesn't perform in Motion as well as I'd hoped so I'm going with a 6800 Ultra. The card is a week old. Looking for $425 shipped obo. I take paypal and can be reached at moviecutter (at) mac (dot) com. Thanks.

I also have a Blackberry 7290 I bought to replace my lost Treo, well now that I have a new Treo, I no longer need the Blackberry. This is the one with bluetooth and a full QWERTY keyboard. It was tough for me to go back to a Treo after having this awesome device. It comes with a USB cable, belt-clip holster, software, and a docking cradle. These retail for around $400, I'm looking to get $225 shipped. PM me or email me at moviecutter (at) mac (dot) com. I will post pics tonight. Thanks.

They sell a refurbished X800 on newegg for $360, and that can be overclocked to the specs of your card. Maybe you can bring down the price a bit. And also since it has no box.

do you really think an un-modified X800 from Newegg will even work in a Mac? Do a quick google on Mac card flashing...you'll see that any old Newegg card won't work in a Mac because of firmware issues, and flashing hte firmware sometimes require solder jobs, and even if it's just a straight flash you'll void your warranty. $450 is a steal because the only thing you can compare it to is Apple's price of like $599

Thanks for the advice. And I just saw them take away the refurbished model again from the website. Also about a month and a half ago, I saw 3 x800 going on ebay for 320 each. Sorry for using your thread.

Ok, before crapping a thread, read the original post carefully. It says $450 OBO, OBO stands for Or Best Offer. If you don't like the price, shoot me an email or PM with a price you would pay for it. Simple as that. Thanks for the free bump.

Sorry. I still don't know what Feeler or OBO or NB is, although I think it means no box. Another free bump.

Feeler means someone is trying to get a feel for the price they can get. Some forums allow that, some don't. But that is a sweet card, and someone please buy it..

Just for clarification, I already ordered a 6800 Ultra, so I'm not looking to trade. Thanks though. Make an offer, I'm open to suggestion (bribes too).

Hi
Ah man...Don't tempt me. If I had it, I'd offer you $350 to $400 in a heartbeat. Heck, your $450 isn't actually a bad deal either. Currently, the X850XT is a BTO only option. The X800XT Mac retail version goes for around $500 yet.

I so wish I could get this.

Good luck to you anyway.

Gotta put a hold on shipping this product out to anyone who wants it. Looks like it may be a bad card. I have Apple shipping me a new one this week. Thanks, still taking offers/dibs though!

Hi
Curious...Why do you believe it is 'bad'?

I'd buy it from you in a heartbeat, but I've already been spending too much money lately, and my parents would through a fit. But I move into the dorm in less than a month. Maybe we can talk then

I'm getting tired of having a crappy Geforce FX 5200 running a 24" LCD...

It's causing some serious artifacting on my screen during Motion work. I was running some benchmarks for Rob at Barefeats and told him about it. He suggested the card was bad and to get a new one.
