Just incase anyone is interested in the Windows experience Index:

I have the higher level MBA 11'' 2012 (1.6ghz, 4GB, 128GB)

A few points:

Windows install takes about 12GB after turning of hibernate.
Bootcamp drivers took a while to download before the install, over an hour but I was on a slow connection.
The core Windows install only took about 15 minutes.
Bootcamp driver install took about 5 minutes.
Installed using a Windows7 iso from a USB drive, really brilliant way of installing an OS.

I will be testing a few games on my Windows install (Fifa 12).

It's nice to see that the Intel HD 4000 is pulling in some high numbers. Although this rating system doesn't really mean much.

Out of curiosity did you go with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7?

64 bit.

As you would expect everything is really snappy. Compared to my i5 Windows 7 Laptop.

Awesome. Unfortunately being a student/developer I'll be going the bootcamp route. Good to hear!

Do the fans kick on a lot of Windows 7 under normal use? I noticed that with my Air 2010.

Would love to know this. My MBP is constantly loud and hot under Windows 7, even in idle.

Nope, Didn't notice them kick in during install either.

I have a feeling the 11'' fans are nowhere near as loud as the 13''
6000+ RPM on my 11'' isn't that loud, audible but nothing to moan about.

Oddly, I got 6.3 for the processor (I'm running 64-bit on my i7), and I think also for the memory, since my final score was 6.3. I'm happy about the 7.9 for the disk, though. That means that AHCI is finally active (it wasn't in previous versions), and TRIM should be operational in Windows 7.
