I am hoping there is a piece of software out there that can do the following...
I want to be able to scan a bunch of documents using my scanner which has an ADF, then hopefully this magical bit of software will use OCR to read specific parts of certain document types and rename the file accordingly.
For instance, I want to scan a load of bank statements, all of which have info such as the date and company logo in the same place on the sheet, consistently. I want to be able to set it up so it will recognize the company logo on the headed paper, and then from there check where the date of the statement - and rename the file according to these results.
Hope that makes sense.
