How long does Apple take to deliver a custom Macbook Air?

So I'm planning to buy my first macbook, a Macbook Air with 8gb of ram. I'm wondering how long would it take for Apple to deliver on average. I'm in Malaysia btw. To the people who has ordered from Apple, how long does it take? Is the tracking system accurate? I'll be leaving the country in a few weeks and I would really want my new Macbook with me when I do.

Mine was ordered on June 19th and was delivered today (06/26). Was also a custom MBA.

It was shipped to Germany, Berlin

If you order today, chances are you can still get it by friday. Also, if you ship to store people have said the date is much sooner. For example, it says available in store july 6th, but it will probably be there on friday.

mine was exactly 9 days, ordered on a sunday. arrived 9 days (7 working days) later. Order from the UK.

I ordered my 11"/i7/8GB/256 on June 12th. It left Shanghai on June 14th, and I received it in Toronto, Canada on June 18th. So, if you are in Malaysia, the shipping time should be less.

Apple always exaggerate the delivery dates, so that when you get it early, you would be a lot happier than you already are :) My original delivery date was June 21st.

I'm planning to make my purchase this weekend . I have no time to purchase it during the weekdays. But I read another post about this people are saying that it seems like this taking at least 2 weeks. So I dunno if I have time. I want my MacBook before the end of July. :(

I thought 2 weeks wait were for the Retina Display Macbook Pro's?

Mine took 4 days.

I'm afraid that due to high amounts of ordering, it might delay the delivery time. :( I got 3-4 weeks to spare.

Could you please be so kind and lookup the delivery chain on http://expo.expeditors.com with the 'Lieferreferenznummer'?
I have ordered mine on the 20th and hope to get it delivered until friday as I am on travel from saturday on and want to take it with me. I'm located in Vienna and my expo... reporting says that it will arrive 2morrow in Prague (estimated) and will get joined with the student discount card and than shipped to Vienna. I'm frightening that the Prague - Vienna delivery might take longer than two days :(

If I see your delivery table I might estimate if mine will arrive until friday.

I ordered mine Thursday 6/21 at around 6:30 PM. Got my tracking info today and it should be here Friday 6/29 before 4:30.

Not bad considering I opted for the i7, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD.

I've ordered a 13/i7/8/256 on June 19th, it says delivery by the 4th of July to Finland. I'm not even able to track the delivery yet, so I have no clue if they are going to get it here on next week as expected.

Ordered June 12th.

Estimated delivery was today but has been delayed and is now supposed to be here tomorrow(Norway).

It's ridiculous how long this has taken :mad:

MBA delivery

I order mine yesterday at 530 pm central time, shows 1-3 days make time, with a best case delivery date of June 29th, worst case July 2nd. I paid the extra 15$ for 2 day shipment. I purchased the high end air with 8gb.. Did not upgrade the processor. After speaking with our engineer department at work the amount of speedways not worth the extra cash..

Mine was just under a week from order to receipt. BTO was listed as 1-3 days, shipped on third day and took 3 days to arrive (Denver, CO)

It was until 24-Jun in Prague. I also got the student discount and the delivery time on apples page was very accurate

qft. I ordered one on the 25th, monday, it said i could pick it up at the apple store on 07/06...just got an email saying it is there today. Seems ship to store is really fast

Ordered mine on WWDC Monday.....received it the following monday (New England region of US)

When you order online it should give you an estimated date in the cart before committing to the purchase.
