Do you guys think it's safe to have my faceplates changed or just buy a new iPhone? Right now the color is black but I wanted to go white#
Thanks

I would not do it. Just for the fact that the colored backs are usually from cheap material.

Check your product documentation for user serviceable parts.

Apple says "iPhone does not contain any user-serviceable parts, except for the SIM card and SIM tray."

Anything not specifically stated as such will likely void the warranty.

Some Geniuses don't care, others will use any excuse not to help.

YMMV
