Magic Mouse has completely lost it...

ok so since the day I bought this mouse it's been rather crazy. Here are it's "symptoms".
  • The whole surface is a right click. like, the mouse doesn't register a left click if i press the left side of the mouse. I fixed this by turning right click off in System Preferences. But this is a bit awkward, because i use right click a lot.
  • The mouse started to randomly zoom in in Safari. I turned this off in System Preferences too, but i really liked that feature.
  • I can't scroll at all. I have no idea why.
  • It sometimes randomly selects text.

does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem?

Don't exchange it. Return it and get a real mouse, like a Logitech.

Don't reward Apple for a the under engineered, horrendously unergonomic, RSI injury inducing piece of trash pathetic excuse for a mouse that is the Magic Mouse.

Take it to the apple store and they probably will swap it out for you. They break a lot and usually are pretty good about it.
