Before anyone brings this up: yes, I am aware that Apple does not officially support Time Machine backups to an external connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station. However, it's worked for 4 years now, and I successfully restored from said backups just weeks ago after purchasing two new computers.
That said, I've backed up each of my Macs to separate partitions on my 2 TB external via USB, but now that the external is connected to my network, Time Machine doesn't recognize the older backups. Any ideas why?
