MBA 2012 and Toshiba Dynadock 3.0
I've been considering the Thuderbolt Docks coming in September. Wondering if anyone has had a good experience using the Toshiba Dynadock 3.0 (recommended in another post). I just want to consolidate cords on my desk.

I don't believe Toshiba has made OS X drivers, so it might work only with Windows 7 in Boot Camp.

Actually it does. Only support for usb 2.0 at this time. Might be a short term fix until thunderbolt adapters show up.

The dynadock3.0 on win7 and bootcamp supports 2 external monitors,
ethernet , usb 3 devices... No issues. Under OS X the usb ports eg mouse/keyboard, drive and the ethernet port are working. but not the monitors ![]() Even the DETECT displays did nothing. I believe it requires displayLink drivers, but im still researching that, I came here hoping to see news of NEW drivers, etc to resolve. (DATE OCT 2012) Just found the lastest DisplayLink Drivers (not toshiba specific, several docks use this) DisplayLink USB Graphics Macintosh Driver V1.8 This v1.8 driver did not work for me. http://www.displaylink.com/support/sla.php?fileid=67 anybody else get the monitors to be recognised. Detect displays does nothing Last edited by soadyp; Oct 1, 2012 at 09:26 AM. Reason: DisplayLink Drivers |

Did you have to get specific drivers or did your Dynadock (specifically USB ethernet) work right out of the box. I have a dynadock that I was using for a PC Ultrabook and looking to get it working with MBA 2012.
Thanks. |
