Hey Folks,

I have a question about the solid state drive for the 2011 model...will it fit in the 2012 Macbook air?

Also should it not fit i was thinking of getting a macbook pro....if any of you have the 13 inch 2012 pro how do you like it? How is it with gaming?
Thanks so much for your input in advance.

As far as gaming performance, the HD4000 is not bad but you will have to give details on what performance you are looking for. It can be considered "good" for games like LoL, WoW etc but terrible for Battlefield 3. But in general, it's capable if you are fine with generally lower settings on Games from this year and last year, and higher up for older games or console ports.

The 13" MBP can yield a few more frame rates thanks to a higher clocked CPU and GPU, but GPU intensive games won't notice a big difference between the MBP and MBA's HD 4000.
