iPhone 4 wont turn on or charge

I was gonna take a picture but my memory was low so I put it in my pocket and the next time I took it out it was on the apple logo and wouldn't stop vibrating. It was stuck on the apple screen logo so I tried holding the home and power button but that did nothing. I let it vibrate until the battery died and when I went to charge it again nothing happened. I connected it to my computer and still nothing happened. Any Help or Advice?
