Ok, I'm starting to really get into FlashMX lately, been learning it over the past week with most likely a few more weeks before I actually post anything for you all to see. But I tried a test last night and found that the .swf file can be imported into Powerpoint on my mac, running Jaguar and with the OSX version of Office.

But when I got to work, all excited on the prospect of having a better way to animate movies for Powerpoint, the file didn't work in the PC version of PowerPoint. What gives?

yes...this makes perfect sense...

your .swf is for MACS...you need to output your .swf on a pc in order for it work on a pc...

if you don't need any interactivity...you might try exporting it as a quicktime instead and insert that into powerpoint...i think that will work on both platforms...jv
