This was my first, a gift from my parents in spring/summer 2005. The most ugliest piece of junk I have ever used. It wasn't even the color version, had a limit of 20 texts per month, and I have no idea about talk time because I barely even used it because I hated it so much and ended up canceling it. It's still sitting in our kitchen with our other old stuff.
I had a Pocket PC at that time so I would have rather wanted a Windows Mobile based phone at that point. I'd rather browse, not text or talk (except to my parents). ![]() This was my second: ![]() Was my Christmas present that year (2007) from my dad, although I paid for a good chunk of it myself.

Wow. I guess I am showing my age. I can't even find a picture of it online. It was an NEC phone for the car. Separate handset and radio - which was in the trunk. This was circa 1989. Wish I still had it. The thing was a brick!
Disclaimer: Obviously I know it was an analog phone and if I still had it - it wouldn't work. I'm just saying it was a solid piece of technology at the time. Last edited by DollaTwentyFive; Nov 27, 2012 at 10:50 PM. |

My first cell phone was the Motorola brick that pulled your jeans down when on your belt with the clip. Good times.

My first real contract phone was a Nextel Motorola i276. Mom and sister (and of course I) had one, Dad had an i265 from work. We had unlimited Direct Connect which was fun.

Glad you posted this! it also was my first phone, and couldn't remember the type. But there's already a long list of which I remember most of the others.
