The other day after disconnecting my ipod from my computer it just came up with the apple logo that just kept repeating, like it was rebooting.

Has anyone else had this problem??
I've checked the Knowledge base but it says that I have to restore my ipod losing all my songs :(, and if that dosn't work I have to send the ipod in for repair :( :( :(
I can mount the ipod and listen to the songs on my ipod through itunes.
Has anyone else had this problem and did you find a way of copying songs from your ipod back to your computer (Alot of the songs I didn't back up. serves me right I guess). I have already tried iprober and iPod Retriever.
Oh and I'm on OS9 aswell.

Have you tried the reset procedure (you probably have, just another thing to try. I believe you hold down the select and menu buttons at the same time for a few seconds.
