Ios6 iPhone 4 on straight talk

I gave an iPhone 4 gsm running ios6 beta 2 and have everything working 100% talk text worked with just the sim swap

Data worked with the apn changer from unlockit

The only issue I have is mms for text messages, mms works with iMessage but mms to non iPhone users is not working, anyone have any ideas?

Because Unlockit doesn't set MMS settings. Only data. Pretty sure it tells you that too

JB and use a program such as TetherMe or don't send MMS

Obviously huh? You didn't sound like you knew that.

Yes. You can. Or DFU restore to 5.1.1

It's how I use my virgin 4S on ST. No sim swap either, I just use the APN profile change plus this.

You might be able to use the iPhone Configuration Utility to change the MMS settings.

Wait, how did you unlock a Virgin mobile 4s? I thought virgin locks the GSM part, even though you pay the full price.

MMS settings aren't available in the config utility, I tried when I switched to Straight Talk. Your best bet is to try the T-mobile sim swap trick and hope it still works under ios 6.

The sim swap trick only works with a 4s, not a 4

Sorry for the confusion. I meant my iPhone which has never experienced the je nais se quoi of the various dev teams' work.

I have an AT&T iPhone 4S.

Try and get it factory unlocked?

Since you have straight talk you probably don't have an AT&T account tied to it so they'll probably unlock it for your with no problem.

My iPhone 4 is factory unlocked from AT&T and so is my friends 4S that is tied to an account somehow. Can't hurt to try.
