My brother had his iPhone stolen in Zante on Sunday, so I reported to the mobile provider to bar it, and did a remote wipe through iCloud.

He went on Tuesday to the local police station to file a report and they had caught the person who stole it and gave him his phone back.

I have informed the mobile provider and thats all ok, and we hadn't yet started on the insurance forms so nothing to do there.

What I need to understand is what happens with the wipe. I know once he connects to the internet again it wipes, but do I just need to connect it back to iTunes and connect with his apple account to re sync?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Yes, once it has wiped itself, just connect it to iTunes and restore your content. Job done :)
