Let's say hypothetically speaking Apple releases an iPad Mini. Let's say the base 8 or 16GB model is $200 and the iPod touch is gone from the line up. How many original iPad 1 owners are going to sell it to then purchase a Mini? To me it seems like a great idea. I have the New iPad and the original so any apps I need more room on I have the full size and anything for casual browsing, games, and books can go onto the iPad Mini. The trade in would be virtually free if not profitable. While I highly doubt an iPad Mini is on it's way, it would be nice to have a fast running lower tier device. (My iPad 1 is hella slow and is getting annoying).

So my question is, how many of you would do the same?
 
I would sale mine for $100. It still works but shows sign of wear. A smaller iPad would make my wife very happy. I'm not greedy one bit.
 
I wouldn't trade in for one, I love my ipad 3 too much, but I would be awfully tempted at that price point to buy one for my sister. Mind you I think $300 is more likely than $200.
 
Nope, I like my 9.7" screen. The only way I would be swayed is if the 7.85" ipad had everything- retina, siri, quad core processor - and still only cost $250.

I personally don't think Apple will release a smaller ipad but if they do you can bet it will be at least $350, probably $400 starting price.
