Have just installed AirServer on my Mac, and had it working perfectly, with my iPad mirrored on my MacBook Air screen. However, later in the day this function stopped working, with the Air Server app running and connected, but seemingly unable to open a mirroring window. I then tested the iPad with my AppleTV, and it appears to have the same issue - the Apple TV recognises that an iPad is connected by AirPlay, but setting it to mirror does nothing. There seems to be some issue with the iPad broadcasting its screen. Can anybody suggest anything that might be causing this?

Thanks in advance.

You may well have already done these, but just in case - when I've seen issues like this I've generally found that some combination of 'the basics' will get things working right again. As in, try these things:

-- Turn off AirPlay Mirroring on the iPad and quit Air Server.

-- Close apps manually that you see in the iPad's Multitasking Bar.

-- Launch Air Server again and turn on AirPlay Mirroring again on the iPad.

If that doesn't work try rebooting the iPad as well.
