Best way to move stuff from Old MBP to New MBA
Can I use the cloned drive from MBP and basically wipe out everything on my MBA and dump it? I was afraid doing this way can cause some problem since they are different hardware.
Or Migration Assistant is the better route??? |

I'd go with Migration Assistant since your older MacBook Pro won't have the drivers that are in the build of Lion that ships with the MacBook Airs. I've used that to migrate with my last several purchases.
When Apple finally ships the Thunderbolt Firewire 800 adapter, the process might be smoother, but it would work over Wi-Fi, or through an enclosure if you are able to take the HDD out of the MacBook Pro. |

time machine
reinstall Lion, then migration assistant from a time machine backup via USB, works the best.

Ok I will try that but would I have to re-enter applications serial? And Parallel for Windows would still be intact?
