Any way to revert ios 6 backup back to ios 5?

Is there ANY way at all to make my ios 6 backup file reversable back to ios 5.1.1? It seems like the .plist trick isn't working anymore, so im just wondering if there is any way to still do this, or if a have so start clean?

I believe backup files are not compatible going between iOS 5 and iOS 6. When I reverted back from iOS 6 I had to start fresh. Fortunately I had a somewhat recent backup on another computer.

You can't use a newer versions backup for a later version. I'm afraid you'll have to start clean.
