I have the base Retina Macbook Pro and in the last couple days, the OS keeps crashing. I'll have music playing and be using chrome when it will freeze up, then go to a grey screen telling me to push any key to restart. Is anyone else having this problem? Hopefully ML helps when it comes out.

Until Google and Apple sort out their hardware issues, it's probably best to use the Chrome Canary build, which has significantly fewer problems with the rMBPs.
I have had one kernel panic (the sort of crash you're describing) using Canary, but it's been the exception rather than the rule.

Which is a concern, but without more information your crashes could be coming from virtually anywhere in the computer, and probably don't have the same cause as the OP.
