How the new iPhone should look according to me (picture)

Hey!
I was wondering how I would design the new iPhone if I were to work at Apple and started with making it in Photoshop CS5.
I also made redesigned the home screen (it's not hat great lol but I would like something like that).
I hope you guys like it!

I'd rather not lose half the front page to time and date... that's what the lock screen and 'Calendar' app are for.

...and I definitely don't want a camera that's more than 10MP. Any larger than that and it's a waste since the sensor can't hold the quality. Not to mention how quick I'd be filling the phone from pictures alone.

Design wise, it's not too bad, but the volume (and mute switch) are way too small and too close together and it'd be better to have the front-facing camera centered.

LOL, no kidding. How can you go from 32GB to 64GB for $100 and then go from 64GB to 128GB for only $100? Next step should be 96GB. And thats just the memory he has there. 720p front camera? Nice thought.

Apple could do those specs but like you said, it sure wont be for those prices ;)

Honestly, the specs were OBVIOUSLY not real not relevant for this post neither.
I wanted some feedback on the design!

Nice, but I don't like the bezel. Makes it look like the ipod touch.
 
The widget is useless like most widgets.

I have the calendar app and a clock on the home screen as is.

For me......If it looks similar, than I'm out. Too darn wide. :D 4 inch tall max and keep same width. All others, go to the Android monsters ;)

After having both the 4 and 4S since their respective release dates, I'm just ready for a new look. I'm sure if it is just longer, I'll still buy one. The force is just too strong. :D
 
I commend you. That's what I'd like to see this year.

Nit picks tho: Home button and volume buttons are too small proportionately on your mockup.

Very handsome though, good job!

Now, if someone at Apple were creative enough to come up with a design like that instead of wimping out and just stretching the 2 year old iPhone 4 design. Designs like this should embarrass the hell out of Apple.

The next bit step from 64 is 128. That's just how it works. But it looks too Android-y. While I especially like the Kill All feature to turn every running off, I definitely wouldn't want to look at it.
 
I like it...definitely better than some of the other mockups I've seen. A couple of things...the aspect ratio looks to be a bit off (it's a bit too wide), and if the screen were that big there would be room for another column of icons. The icons you show are disproportionately large for a screen that size. I like the top clock/calendar widget. I really wish they would incorporate that and use widgets in general. And the specs are probably not realistic as you already said. Having 1080p capability on the screen is a possibility (something I have speculated about in a different thread), but we won't see 4k video.
