hey everyone,

just wondered how i'd go about putting lion back on my 2009 iMac after the upgrade to mountain lion, would it be as simple as downloading lion from the mac app store and installing it? or is it a more difficult job?

You would have to perform a CLEAN INSTALL of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. There are many guides available, I currently am not able to link to one though. Just use a www search engine and the terms "clean install lion" and you will find plenty of written and pictured guides, and even a video or ten.
