Converting files from tiff to PDF on Mac

I scanned some files onto my Mac and they came out tiff files. How can I convert them to PDF because I need to send the info out through the computer but maximum size is 3 MB, and some of the files are bigger than 3 MB's. Need to make the files smaller. Thanks

If you have a bunch of TIFF files that you need converted to another format, Automator is a great tool for this task. You might want to experiment with PNG too.
