Hi all. I'm new to MAC since last december, so be gentle  ;)

I use Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS5 on my iMac with a 1tb hard drive.

My girlfriend is lost in using these programs, so I wanted to set her up using iPhoto in order for her to see the finalized JPG photos (I shoot RAW) , so the other day I imported ( File / Import in the library ) what I taught would be JPG's only, but iPhoto also imported the RAW files.

I now have two libraries: (BTW, Bibliothèque is french for library)

Bibliothèque iPhoto
Bibliothèque iPhoto Recovered Photos

The last one, Photo Recovered Photos is HUMONGUS at 255 gig  and its taking too much space on my 1 TB drive.

Am I right in assuming that by deleting iPhoto Recovered Photos I will only be deleting copies of the pictures, without actually deleting the pictures (RAW and JPG) from their location ?

Thanks in advance :D

You can right-click (or option-click) on a library to see its contents. Do that and check for yourself what is in the library before deleting.
