So I was at work, working on a song in garageband on an imac. I took the project file home and went to boot it up in my macbook pro and it said I needed to update my garageband version to open the file. So I went to do that and they want to charge me $15 to upgrade from v5.1 to v6.0.X. Is this seriously what I have to do? Or am I missing something? It seems silly to charge someone for an upgrade to a program, especially when the differences between 5 & 6 are nothing immediately noticeable. Thanks for the help.
