I'm trying to compare if it is worth buying 2012 MBP over 2011 iMac ? I'm looking at this two particular model
MBP i5+4GB RAM+ 500GB HDD

I'm tired of waiting for 2012 edition of iMac. At present I do most of my digital image edition on 2010 MBP with 8GB RAM and Core2Duo 2.4GHz processor with 512MB nVidia GPU. I've upgraded it to 256GB of SSD + 750GB of 7200RPM HDD. How easy it would be to upgrade SSD on 2011 iMac if I want to ? I know RAM upgrade is considered easier job on both MBP and iMac. My primary use is photo editing using Adobe CS5 and LightRoom 4. I need to buy as new laptop for my wife and I was eyeing to get iMac and give my MBP to her as all she needs is for Websurfing and occassional email.
