hey, i've got a macbook air & currently if i want to display this on my TV i use a thunderbolt/hdmi lead, i can close my mac (clamshell) and carry on controlling it using my iPhone and touchpad.
...question is, if i get the ATV and as i have mountain lion use the airdisplay mode can you still close the mac lid? or would this disconnect the air display?
i think as i use the lead at the moment it detects the tv display and doesn't shut off.
