Mouse button mapping

Afternoon everyone,

I have a Logitech mx620 mouse for my Macbook Pro

I used to use it on a PC, and the 'Forward and Back' buttons on the thumb rest worked in firefox, but now they dont on my mac in Safari. Any ideas?

Everything else works on the mouse including wheel click in etc.
