He's talking about the PowerMacs, not the iMacs.

Do you have links to the two machines? They're both no longer available at the store and if things are what you say, its a bit odd.

He is right about the two different models. When they first introduced the G5's, they have a single 1.6, single 1.8, and a dual 2.0. Each FSB running at half the processor speed. A few months later they changed teh 1.8 to a dual 1.8, still with a 900 FSB. As they updated teh G5 line, they later added a crippled single 1.8 with a 600mHz FSB which they just discontinued. I would go with the older one if I had the choice, it might also be cheaper because it is a few years old.

The video card might be a bit different - but I do remember this as being odd. But I think the sad thing is that the original 1.8 G5 is a couple years old.....

Tachikoma - are you going to buy one of these? What are the going prices on the different models?
