Well one thing I find reassuring is that the developer is also one of the hackers. He ported comex's sandbox patches to the corona untether jailbreak. I noticed this morning on twitter that the dev won't be able to update Battsaver because he's going out of town or something like that. But because the dev is an established member of the jailbreak community I feel like that boosts this app's credibility. Im gonna hold off on purchasing it until I read some reviews that it actually works as advertised though.

I'm hoping to hear some details on this myself. I hate buying tweaks to have them dropped after two releases. ;(
I decided to roll the dice, I'm going to give it a shot and let everyone know after a day if there's change. >__<
I haven't used it much but I think I'm going to uninstall it. I want to be connected all the time and cutting the radios off means I won't get texts/iMessages/Whatsapp messages until the radios are turned back on and I don't want to use my phone like that.
Like the others that have tried it, I think it will work to save battery life but it "cripples" many of the features we expect to have when the phone sleeps. I'd like to see someone post who has experimented with the "custom" settings to see what would be a good compromise between battery life and functionality.
Looks like one of the things it does is completely shut off your DATA chip when you're connected to WIFI, instead of keeping it on low-power standby mode.

Sure save on battery but dont get no calls, texts, push notifications, imessages etc....
I got a better app in mind and I will only charge $2.98, it will just shut off the phone and when you need it again you have to turn it back on. Maximum battery saver

So this is essentially a glorified Airplane Mode which activates every time you lock your phone
Yep, given I can quickly turn off 3g, wifi from the lock screen (and bluetooth if you use it)
Jeff Benjamin at iDownloadblog blog said that you still get calls and texts because it does not turn off gsm radio. Is this accurate? My understanding shares the general consensus in this thread but I haven't tried out the app yet. I'm just throwing this out there because I asked this very question in the comments section and that's what he in response.
not getting my money pass.rarely does my phone not last the day it's easy enough to have a case like the morphie. I'd rather have that and not turn off radio's. Ss long as it gets me though the day I'm happy!
Honestly the idea is great for Android phones(Juice Defender), it's not I hate the app, just hard to justify the purchase. With SBSettings turning off 3G/Wifi will do just as well. Sorry for the late reply.
