OWC QX2 - Change from RAID5 to RAID0

I have the Mercury Elite Pro QX2 by OWC. At the moment it's configured as RAID5, and I'd like to change it to RAID0. Can I just turn the switch to RAID0, and it would rebuild everything, keeping my data intact? Or will it format the drives, erasing everything?
